The Malibu Arts Commission will continue evaluating the concept and design of the proposed Malibu Performing Arts Center. On Tuesday, April 22, the Malibu Arts Commission re-affirmed Vice Chair Peter Jones and Commissioner Lotte Cherin to the Cross Creek Performing Arts Center Ad Hoc Committee, tasked with gathering community ideas.
As part of this robust community engagement effort, the Malibu Arts Commission collected input from residents on the types of programs they would like to see at the proposed Performing Arts Center on Parcel C at Cross Creek Ranch (formerly La Paz). To view all community feedback, click here.
At its October 28 meeting, the Malibu Arts Commission reviewed community feedback from the Phase 3 questionnaire. A full five-member Commission is expected to review the proposed design and provide a recommendation to City Council in early 2026.
